FRUITRIDGE POCKET, Sacramento County — Sacramento County publishes a Zone 61 preparedness map for the Fruitridge and South Oak Park area, including major routes residents may need during an evacuation.
The county’s map lists east-west roads such as 14th Avenue, Fruitridge Road and 47th Avenue and major north-south connections including Highway 99 and Stockton Boulevard. The map is available in multiple languages, including Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese and others. Not every address with a Fruitridge Pocket mailing description necessarily falls in the same emergency zone.
A planning map is not a current evacuation order and cannot guarantee that a named road will remain open during flooding, severe weather or a major fire. Emergency crews may redirect traffic according to actual conditions.
What local residents can do
Residents should verify their exact parcel and official evacuation zone, sign up for county alerts and prepare more than one route if possible. During an emergency, follow current county instructions rather than an old static map.
